Our History

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Our Mission

There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don’t look even slightly believable. If you are going to use a passage of Lorem Ipsum, you need to be sure there isn’t anything embarrassing hidden in the middle of text.

All the Lorem Ipsum generators on the Internet tend to repeat predefined chunks as necessary, making this the first true generator on the Internet. It uses a dictionary of over 200 Latin words, combined with a handful of model sentence structures, to generate Lorem Ipsum which looks reasonable. The generated Lorem Ipsum is therefore always free from repetition, injected humour, or non-characteristic words etc.

Our Story

I started hunting at a very young age. My uncle took me hunting for the first time when I was six or seven years old. I climbed that tree and sat there, not making a sound, and waited for the big one to step out. From that moment, I was hooked. I went hunting every chance I could. I watched my uncle, did what he did and asked a million questions. He was more than willing to share his love of the outdoors with me. He taught me all the tricks of the sport that he had learned over his lifetime.

When I became a father, I did the same thing for my children. I took them with me from the time they could walk. Now they hunt more than me and quite frankly, they are much better at it than I am at this point.

Hobby to Business

Years later, my wife and I started going to gun shows. We made friends and became vendors at the shows. We enjoyed it so much that we both quit our full-time jobs, and we started participating in every gun show we could. In November of 2021, we opened our brick--mortar shop. We wanted to give our community a place to go to get knowledgeable help with purchasing firearms. We also had the hard-to-find ammo that people needed.

Our customers have made us what we are today.

We offer a wide range of products from reloading supplies, ammo, cleaning kits, holsters, optics, and most accessories that anyone would need when engaging in shooting sports. We sell Smith and Wesson, Sig Sauer, Ruger, Springfield, Taurus, Tisas, Walther, Wilson Combat, Colt, CZ, Canik, Heritage, Diamondback, HK, Glock, Berretta, Browning, Savage, Begera, Charter Arms, Henry, Dan Wesson, Ed Brown, EAA, FN USA, NAA, along with a wide range of AR rifles and pistols, and this is just to name a few. We also buy, sell and trade used firearms as well as consignments. We have years of experience dealing with Estate Auctions. If a collection needs to be valued, we can help with that.

Our commitment

We are also Glock, Ruger, Smith and Wesson, and Leupold master dealers.

We only sell products that we believe in and have used. We are willing and able to provide some education to the new shooters and will work to make to sure they are comfortable with their choice of firearm before making their purchase. We also provide contact information for CWP and training classes in our area.

Meet the Founders

Chris and Ashley Bishop are the owners and founders of CLB Guns. Chris started shooting at a very young age. His love for firearms only grew as he got older. When Chris and Ashley started dating in 2010, he expressed his love of firearms to her and taught her how to shoot and now they help to educate their community about firearms. They make the behind-the-scenes stuff run.

Key Personnel

Toby, Chris’ son, takes care of the day-to-day operations of the showroom floor. If you need a specific gun and we don’t have it, Toby can order it for you. He hunts everything he can so he is able and willing to answer any questions that our customers may have. He can help you with the perfect optic for any gun and can mount and bore sight it for you.

Steve is a hunting enthusiast and spends as much time as possible in the woods. He is skilled in being able to help find the perfect hunting gun that will suit the needs of the everyday hunter. He is a retired truck driver with a passion for shooting sports.

Our ammo guru is Chris’s dad, Frank. Frank is a retired restaurant manager who got thrown in the gun show circuit one weekend and never looked back. He goes above and beyond to help find the unicorn ammo. He makes sure that we have the ammo that our customers want. He knows every box of ammo that is on our shelves.
